MibsBlog Meanstreet Meals – Veggie “Noodles”

Veggie "Noodles"

INGREDIENTS
per person

75g of dried cheap spaghetti ( or 100g if you are really hungry)
couple handfuls of frozen mixed veg
dashs of soy sauce to taste
pepper to taste

METHOD

Put a medium pan half full of water on to boil, throw in the frozen veg, after 5 mins add the spaghetti, after about 10 mins check that the spaghetti is soft, then drain the water away, place the spaghetti/veg mix into a bowl, add a splash or two or soy sauce and a sprinkle of pepper to taste.

Not the prettiest of meals, granted, but will fill your belly, and isn’t all that bad in a pinch!

Cooking Time – Slightly slower than boiling a kettle
Cost – approx 17p per person
